Dr Koula Asimakopoulou is a Health Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council and a Chartered Scientist. She obtained her PhD in 2001 from the University of Surrey and since then she has researched and lectured both in the UK (Universities of Bath, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Roehampton) and overseas (University of Crete). Since 2007 she has been a Lecturer in Health Psychology at King’s College London.
Dr. Asimakopoulou divides her time between lecturing, research, and treating patients with dental anxiety using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. We are very lucky that she has chosen to work with us, making this much needed type of treatment available to more patients.
