Alexandra Major, Head Nurse

Alex came to London from her native Hungary in 2006, to “try a different lifestyle and learn the language”. Although a qualified Interior Designer, Alex discovered an interest in dentistry and nursing and decided to retrain. She began her studies in 2014, arriving at the practice as a trainee nurse, where she learned the practical side of dental nursing. She has been a focused, passionate and committed member of the team ever since, passing her exams with flying colours in 2016, and eventually becoming head of our wonderful nursing team. She likes “being helpful and making sure patients get the best service from me” and even helps out on reception some days too.

Alex swam competitively at national level in Hungary and also took part in athletics. Nowadays “yoga is what I love to do and I still swim when I have time”. Together with her hubby, Alex also loves travelling, photography, going to festivals, dancing and walking their pug Mila.
